All donations of $25 or more will be acknowledged in both the San Antonio Public Library Foundation's Annual report and Newsletter, which is mailed to approximately 5,000 Library supporters. Donors of Bookplates also will be recognized in the Newsletter. Donations to the San Antonio Public Library Foundation are tax -deductible.

Giving Opportunities

Book Plates - Donors contributing $25 will receive recognition on a Bookplate placed in a book in the collection of Comanche Lookout Library. Donor can request for a bookplate to be placed in Adult, Juvenile or children's book.

Honorary/Memorial Donations- can be of any amounts- these donations support the annual fund.

Book Stacks- donations begin at $1000- and are placed within the Central Library location.

Centennial Achievemant Plan and Celebrations
Centennial Achievement Plan - Donors contributing $25,000 or more to the Library Foundation's Centennial Achievement Plan by (deadline) will recieve permanent recognition in the Lobby of the Central Library's Centennial Celebration.

Born to Read - Sponsor Donations begin at $10 to help provide every newborn in Bexar County in 2003 with a Born To Read bookbag packed with two bilingual books, a library card application, and library information.

Explorer Series - Underwriting opportunities are available for this 2003 Centennial Celebration lecture series.

Library Plaza Renovation - Underwriting opportunities are available to refurbish the Central Library's East Plaza for the 2003 Centennial Celebration.

Founding Donors of New Branch Libraries

Founding Donors of new library branches contributing $25,000 or more receive permanent recognition on a plaque at the entrance of the Branch Library, as well as, permanent recognition in the Lobby of the Central Library in 2003 as contributors to the Library Foundation's $8 million Centennial Achievement Plan commemorating the Library's 100th Birthday.

Founding Donors contributing $10,000 or more will receive permanent recognition on a plaque at the entrance of the Branch Library.

Founding Donors contributing $1000 will receive recognition on the end of a bookstack in the Central Library.
