The Moth Mainstage
April 7 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Everyone has a story.
We at the San Antonio Book Festival believe this to be true. That’s why we’re proud to bring The Moth Mainstage to San Antonio. Because stories are important—whether they live in books or in the age-old tradition of true stories told live.
The Moth is an international storytelling show that features five storytellers on stage, without notes, sharing a true and authentic story from their personal experiences. Moth shows are renowned for the great range of human experience they showcase. Each show starts with a theme, and the storytellers explore it, often in unexpected ways. The shows dance between documentary and theater, creating a unique, intimate, and often enlightening experience for the audience.
If you are not familiar with The Moth, join the 30 million listeners worldwide who download the podcast. The Moth Radio Hour is also heard on more than 400 radio stations across the globe. Here are two sample episodes we recommend: “My Place in Rock and Roll History” and “Rare Romance Well Done Marriage.” And we invite you to join us on April 7 for an epic night of storytelling!
