Selected readings of The Portable Nietzsche edited by Walter Kaufmann

The seminars are modeled after the great books program at St. John’s College. The next Great Books Seminar Series will focus on selected writings by German thinker Friedrich Nietzsche.

  • October 13: Zarathustra’s Prologue: 121-140
  • November 10: The Problem of Socrates: 473-501
  • December 8: Nietzsche Contra Wagner: 662-680

Arrival:        10:00 to 10:30 a.m.

Seminar:      10:30 to 12:00 p.m.

Coffee and Existential doughnuts will be served.

The seminars will be led by Paul Martin and Charles A. Massiatte
