Lacey Fischer is the Vice President of Operations for the San Antonio Public Library Foundation. She has been with the Foundation since 2010 and brings a background in journalism, public relations and marketing. Fischer attended Texas A&M University in College Station where she received a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Journalism with a minor in Communications. Having 10+ years of experience in writing and communications, strategic planning, budgeting and community relations, Lacey is responsible for identifying and researching local, state and national funding sources that will benefit the Library system; serves as a liaison between the Library and its donor base; collaborates with members of Library staff to identify potential needs; and cultivates relationships with new donors. She works to annually secure more than $1M in financial support and added awareness for the city’s library system.
